Narratives

This part of the Friction Films website is a collection of commentaries on significant "narratives" at work in our lives.

Narratives can be familiar sounding terms, concepts or stories that we use and form part of our understanding and beliefs about ourselves and the world we are living in. Narratives can also be expert sounding terms which we may not use ourselves nor feel like we really understand, but that somehow affect us or our environment.

Looking at things as "narratives" is a way to look through appearance and explore the underlying storylines, projections, interests, constructions (etc).
Narratives are neither "good" nor "bad" - it's simply a suggested way to understand a bit more where and how we are.
